Memories of Gins around the world

Given that members of the Gin Family are spread far and wide across the world, in acknowledgement of their achievements, their trials and tribulations, the intention of this Page is to capture the memories of folks who came before us, or even folks living through the experience.   In the parlance of Social Historians, these accounts are termed as "Oral Histories".

For instance, how was it for the Gin kids growing up around Chinatown set within the vibrant city of San Francisco, or the remote areas of New Mexico, or in the jungle of Malaya, or the sunny city of Sydney, Australia?   These stories are worth telling, least we forget how hard it was for our forebears as they set up home in a new world, when they left the Ancestral Home in China, perhaps just before World War 2.

Talk to your parents, your grandfather, your great grandfather.  How did home in China looked like then?   When was the last time they visited the Ancestral Home?
