Archived August 17th, 2010 Sad news from the Association: Our elder, Gin Wee Sum passed away on April 27, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital in San Francisco. He has been in failing health for some time. Even though his health was noticeably poor during this year's New Year Banquet, he still managed to get up to the stage at the Banquet to sing karaoke. He died of lung cancer and was 81. We will miss him very much and his voice of wisdom. Scholarship application for the 2010 year is now open again. We suggest interested family members access the Scholarship page and put in their application soon. In any case, application closes July 16th, 2010.
